Eta Kappa Nu Inducts New Members

MSU-ECE’s IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) chapter is excited to announce the 2024 inductees.  The fall 2024 induction ceremony was in Simrall Hall in early November.

HKN is the honor society for IEEE and is the world’s largest technical professional organization for advancing technology for humanity. Members consist of students, alumni and other professionals who have demonstrated exceptional academic and professional accomplishments. Student members are selected on the basis of scholastic standing, character and leadership.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University consists of 27 faculty members (including seven endowed professors), seven professional staff, and over 700 undergraduate and graduate students, with approximately 100 being at the Ph.D. level. With a research expenditure of over $14.24 million, the department houses the largest High Voltage Laboratory among North American universities.
