Eta Kappa Nu Inducts New Members

MSU-ECE’s IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) chapter is excited to announce the 2022-2023 inductees.  The Spring induction ceremony will be held this evening at 5:00 pm in Simrall Hall.

HKN is the honor society for IEEE and is the world’s largest technical professional organization for advancing technology for humanity. Members consist of students, alumni, and other professionals who have demonstrated exceptional academic and professional accomplishments. Student members are selected on the basis of scholastic standing, character, and leadership.

In addition to these student inductees, ECE’s Department Head, Dr. Samee Khan, was also inducted.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University consists of 27 faculty members (including seven endowed professors), seven professional staff, and over 700 undergraduate and graduate students, with approximately 100 being at the Ph.D. level. With a research expenditure of over $14.24 million, the department houses the largest High Voltage Laboratory among North American universities.
